With real-time updating and a staggering array of mapping apps, cell phones are the obvious choice for navigation - except for two major issues:

1. High frequency vibrations attack camera image stabilizers first, and can eventually kill the entire phone
2. Radiation from the sun can quickly overheat a phone, causing permanent damage, and inevitably shutting it down just beyond that last missed turn

We've killed more than a few phones ourselves, by mounting them to our handlebars. So after trying out all the aftermarket mount options, and testing countless prototypes, we developed the Navigator.

The combination of a soft Velcro-over-MOLLE mounting system, and placing soft luggage between it and the bike, deadens all of those damaging vibrations. Our removable sunshade and vents keep the phone cool. Throw in a few other clever features, mount it to one of our tank bags (or other convenient MOLLE panel), and you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
