Here in the Pacific Northwet, we take waterproofing seriously. The Hood is the only waterproof, quick-access tank bag on the market we've seen. There are no zippers and no roll-tops to unfurl. Just unclip the buckle, flip the lid, and you’re in. It’s the easiest-access waterproof tank bag we’ve used.

The new Hood (V2.0) features a redesigned closure buckle optimized for one-handed gloved opening, with lock-compatible grommets on the strap for added security. We've also refreshed the mounting solution to be compatible with the universal Mosko tank bag mounts, replacing the Hood (V1.2) cam strap mounts. The opening hinge has been structured to be more sturdy when the Hood is fully open. And finally, a new internal organizer wallet design replaces the previous organizers, helping keep small items tidy inside the bag.

DESIGN

We spent over two years developing the Hood and tested every kind of waterproof closure available. Our goal was to create a closure that was both simple and strong enough to withstand dusty, abusive conditions and thousands of uses in a tank bag. We even experimented with kayak hatches for six months. Although the hatches didn't work out, they did lead us to the idea for the Hood.

The Hood achieves its waterproofing through a welded-seam, lockable, and waterproof clamshell lid, which we call a 'hood', that rests on an equally waterproof, welded-seam base. The hood pushes against a strip of piping that runs 360 degrees around the base. A rain gutter, just below the piping, stops any water that tries to work its way up the sides. We even tested it with a pressure washer at the car wash, and everything inside stayed bone dry.

The interior of the Hood features a large, open main compartment with a removable sewn-seam wallet designed to hold items such as cables, headphones, batteries, and credit cards. The Hood also includes a charging cable and headphone pass-through port, allowing you to connect your phone and other electronic accessories directly to the battery.

On top of the Hood, you'll find a Hypalon MOLLE Panel for adding MOLLE accessories like our waterproof Map Pocket or Navigator Cell Phone Pocket

I sold the adventure bike, for a Goldwing. Having experience with Mosko Moto product line as a customer, They make the only tank bag that will work on a Goldwing. The Hood 5. I’m probably the only one running a tank bag on a new Goldwing until the word gets out. Their product line is quality and durable. I’m glad I discovered them. What’s not to like about Mosko Moto? Nothing.

Perfect Bag

I’m don’t always use a tank bag but I bought the Hood for au upcoming long ride. You quickly realize it doesn’t get in the way, it has plenty of of room for essentials, and no worries with rain. Perfect bag. It will be a permanent fixture on the Ducati.

Awesome product, support and service

I ordered a set of the Reckless 80 and the Hood Tank Bag (V2.0) from Mosko Moto. I took it on the Washington BDR along with my IBEX 450 and the gear performed beautifully. Everything installed easily, held fast in all kinds of off-road conditions and remained waterproof during a big thunderstorm. Very impressed with the quality and easily installation videos. I got the Gnoblin as well and it is well worth it to keep the bags centered and easy to take on/off. During the initial ordering process, accidently ordered the wrong color and an extra tank bag. I have two kids and a business so of course got busy and missed the return deadline to send the extra stuff back. Mosko moto took it back no problem and issued a full refund because I hadn't used it. The didn't need to do that but that was just amazing service on their part. As a business owner i was really impressed with my entire experience. I will definitely continue to buy and endorse their company!

Mosko wins again!

Recently used the Hood tank bag on T7 from Texas up the Dempster to Tuk and back to Texas. Went through rain, snow and lots of dirt! The Hood tank bag was awesome!
