With the Gnome's unique mounting orientation in a landscape position on top of your tank, there is enough space to stand comfortably without restricting movement as you tackle steep mountain passes or miles of Baja whoops. Its 5L storage capacity includes a 1.5L Hydrapak hydration water reservoir within armâs reach, so you can quench your thirst while riding.
Note: the Gnome has small updates for 2026, including the top lid opening, with the opening now facing the handlebar. This updated design is shipping in Triple Black and Woodland colorways. The legacy design, with the lid opening facing the rider, will continue to ship in the standard black colorway.Â

So far, I love my gnome tankbag- the woodland is a great drk green that suits my bike
I really appreciate how it tucks up high on my gas tank and doesnât hit my body when i stand on the pegs.
The zippers and material is fierce. I will be attaching my mosko phone case on top to ensure it doesnt overheat!
The rain cover is admittedly hard to put back in but i believe that will get easier with time.
This is my second tank bag from Mosko
I still have the original Nomad which is much larger and used for longer trips and maybe one day my own 6 month adv.
For now the Gnome is on my smaller adv bike and should be perfect for my upcoming trips

Not as good as the Hype
This bag is nicely made. I have issues with it though: (1) the compartment for the water bladder is much smaller than the bladder. I'd say 20% or more of the capacity is lost because you can't get it back in the 'pocket'. 2) With the bladder full, the bag looks like a puffer fish all blown up. 3) The strap system for mounting works; but the middle-strap for wearing the bag on your waist is permanently attached. This means the strap, and it's buckles, have to be tucked under the bag at all times while it's mounted on the bike. I'd rather remove them as I'll never use them. 4) The rubber-foam pad that's supposed to make a bed for the bag over the fuel cap could be properly designed so it fits; but no, the hole for the cap has to be shaved to get it to fit the cap.
For the price, I'm dissapointed. This think is Expensive! For that price, I expect excellence.
