FALL TEAM TRIP RECAP

FALL TEAM TRIP RECAP

For some companies, team building happens at the bowling alley, golf course, or local bar. For Mosko Moto, it happens on the trail.

Every year, the Mosko team takes a spring and fall moto trip. It gives our crew an opportunity to test gear, unplug, and do what we love — ride motorcycles.

There isn’t an RV caravan or a hotel just out of frame — these trips are adventure riding at its core: plenty of reroutes, gas station snacks, and leaking air mattresses.

Fortunately, we don’t have to go far to find a proper adventure. We geared up at HQ in White Salmon, WA, and headed west to the Oregon coast. The goal was simple — pavement is lava. Our resident GPS expert twisted up a route that delivered: we found snowstorms, great food, hero dirt, singletrack, landslides, and more.

We’ve been under a fire ban since spring; it’s hard to describe the first whiff of campfire smoke as the leaves begin to turn. Although we had plenty of sunshine, it was still cold. The fire became the focal point for the week, where we thawed numb hands, dried socks, discussed prototype tweaks, shared meals — and even introduced the Europeans to Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

There’s no such thing as a perfect kit, and everyone tweaked their gear based on their needs and riding style. Some of us tested out prototypes and new concepts we hope to bring to the market soon.

Once we arrived at the coast, we tucked into a mossy base camp among the ferns and used the next few days to explore, ride singletrack, goof off in the dunes, and cook up local crab and salmon.

It was a great week of riding, camping, and hanging out. The crew returned exhausted, and the bikes/gear  took their fair share of abuse.

The team is back in action getting caught up on emails, and we really appreciate your patience and support. Drop a comment if you have any questions on the gear we used, how we set up the bikes, or anything else.

Bikes that Made the Trip

We ride a lot of different bikes, and this trip captured that variety well. From small thumpers to big ADV bikes the best part about motorcycles is there a size and style for everyone.
